Furniture Repair Bank (Cohort 2) opens doors at new Reuse Commons Lake City

NCWA alum Furniture Repair Bank celebrated the opening of Reuse Commons Lake City this July, a new community hub in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood, led by NextCycle Seed Grantee Seattle REconomy, that brings several reuse, repair, and share-focused organizations under one roof. The one-year pilot, backed by Seattle Public Utilities and the Office of Economic Development's Seattle Restored program, gives Furniture Repair Bank more room to rescue furniture from landfills and get it into the hands of refugees, immigrants, and families rebuilding stability.

If you are a business or organization working in the circular economy, there is a tenant application form open for the rest of August to join the space.
