ABOUT THE TEAM: New Type Group (Auburn, WA) is a for-profit, public benefit corporation commercializing small plastic particle detection, biofiltration, and bioremediation technologies.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: NewType is addressing the small plastics particulate crisis by using machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve natural bacteria, allowing for the breakdown and consumption of nano/micro plastics in sewage treatment plants, industrial composters, soil, and bodies of water. During NextCycle, the team will refine its business plan and messaging, connect with partners, and identify funding opportunities.
