The Re+ Program is King County’s approach to building a healthy environment and economy by reinventing our system of waste management. Re+ and NextCycle Washington have a shared goal to minimize waste by keeping valuable materials in use and out of the landfill. Your organization or project can get a boost of up to $10,000 to conduct research or testing, create marketing collateral, purchase equipment or supplies, and more!
Up to 15 Seed Grants will be awarded to projects that contribute to building King County’s circular economy. We are looking for projects focused on waste prevention, material reuse/repair/recovery/recycling, organics management, and product development using recycled materials.
NOTE: Projects must have an impact on King County’s waste system (which excludes Seattle and Milton).
