Ocean Made (Cohort 3) in The Seattle Times

What if your flower pots actually helped your flowers grow? NextCycle Washington alumnus Ocean Made (Cohort 3) has developed a plant pot made of seaweed and recycled organic fibers that holds onto moisture, doesn't strangle roots, and encourages a dense root ball (reducing transplanting shock). Plus, the seaweed is harvested from farmed kelp, which supports regenerative ocean farming and is biodegradable! The Seattle Times published the backstory on Ocean Made’s kelp pots and what they are developing next!
