Explore the Map

This map captures investments made through NextCycle Washington's Circular Accelerator and Seed Grant programs since the program's founding. Teams shown represent alumni and grant recipients who have consented to being featured. Additional projects have been completed or are underway that are not shown here for privacy reasons.

The shading on the map reflects overburdened community designations, Highly Overburdened and Overburdened, based on the Washington Environmental Health Disparities Map, an interactive tool developed by the Washington State Department of Health that compares communities using census tracts to identify environmental and health disparities. This layer helps illustrate how NextCycle Washington investments align with communities facing disproportionate environmental health burdens across the state.

A link to the Washington Environmental Health Disparities Map can be found here: https://doh.wa.gov/data-and-statistical-reports/washington-tracking-network-wtn/washington-environmental-health-disparities-map
